Statistics - Code of Conduct Arrangements Complaints pdf icon PDF 166 KB

Minutes:

The Standards Committee received a report detailing statistics in relation to Code of Conduct Arrangements complaints.

 

The Deputy Monitoring Officer advised the Committee of the complaints and various resolutions.  He referred to the complaint against a Parish Council stating that it was suggested that the Standards Hearing Panel could be held over an online audio and web conferencing platform. The system used by the Council, being Zoom.  The Committee sugggested that other online audio and web conferencing platforms also be investingated. The Committee supported the Standards Hearing Panel being held remotely over audio and web conferencing platform and was informed that should the subject member refuse that the Panel meeting could still be held in their absence. However, the subject member would be asked to respond.

 

  

 RESOLVED:   That:

 

 

(1)  The statistical data in relation to the number of complaints received and dealt with is noted.

 

 (2)  Statistical data in relation to the number of complaints received and dealt with is presented to the Committee at each meeting.
